The Hays County Cotton Gin Roadway Improvements Project involves the replacement and relocation of existing water mains to accommodate roadway and drainage enhancements within the project corridor. The scope includes the replacement of 2,630 linear feet of 3-inch PVC water main with a 12-inch water main, 5,320 linear feet of 12-inch PVC water main with a 12-inch water main, and the relocation of 35 linear feet of 6-inch PVC water main. Additional adjustments may be required to address conflicts with existing CLSUD infrastructure. The probable construction cost is $2,605,813.70, the construction is scheduled to begin in early 2025 and is expected to be completed by December 30, 2025.
